Hello, my name is Iryna. I am an artist and a graphic designer. I like experimenting with different media and I am particularly passionate about watercolours. In my experience watercolours are a tough medium to master as the result is not always guaranteed and is often unpredictable. Yet the challenge is what attracts me. The fluid nature of watercolours helps create the desired atmosphere in my paintings while at the same time leaving just enough room for the viewer’s imagination.
Over the years I have attended a variety of art classes at different levels – always looking to improve my skills and techniques as I find new subjects to paint. I have completed commissions as an art practitioner both in the UK and internationally.
I visit museums and art galleries regularly for inspiration and to learn from the masters. I am particularly fond of paintings from the Renaissance Era.
In 2021, as a mature student, I completed a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Central Saint Martins (UAL). I then progressed to a BA in Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Art and Design (UAL) where I am currently studying.
Originally from Eastern Europe, I live in Essex with my family and two sausage dogs. I enjoy taking long walks in the countryside or the seaside in my free time.
If you have any questions or comments, or perhaps you would like to discuss a commission, please do not hesitate to reach me via email at [email protected].
